Housed in the building where poet, musician and author of the "Song of the Chatahoochee" Sydney Lanier practiced law, Sid's makes great sandwiches at prices so low you'll be singing its praises all over town. Homemade egg, tuna or chicken salad will only set you back $1.85. Throw in a bag of chips for another 45 cents. For the heartier appetite, the chicken salad plate, served on a bed of lettuce with dressing, a pickle slice, a boiled egg, and carrot and celery sticks is hard to beat at $3.15.
